Peter C. Kote is the founder of Professional Fiduciary Services (PFS) and is a licensed and bondable private fiduciary and as a Registered Investment Advisor. Peter was a Trust Officer with Wachovia Trust and worked in the financial planning and investments with the Association for Financial Planning in Atlanta, Georgia. His social services background is derived from his work experience as a teacher and family counselor training with Father Flanagan’s Boys and Girls Home in Omaha, Nebraska.

Peter holds degrees from California State University at Fullerton and Western State College of Law. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at Hope International University in Fullerton and taught at the UCI Continuing Education Program and California State University at Long Beach. He regularly conducts an eight week workshop series on Financial and Estate Planning called “It’s Your Money” and “It’s Your Estate.” Both programs are now being held at senior centers and public libraries throughout Orange County.

Peter’s nonprofit experience includes: The National Conference of Christians and Jews, the American Heart Association, Long Beach State University, Casa Colina, The American Red Cross, South County Senior Services and National Public Radio and Public Television. He has assisted people in donating millions of dollars to nonprofit organizations, benefiting both the individual and the organization. Peter is past president of the Orange County Planned Giving Round Table. He currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Laguna Canyon Foundation and is a Founding Board Member of the Laguna Beach Community Foundation. Peter is married with a son and lives in Laguna Beach, California. His wife, Barbara Willey, C.P.A. specializes in the fiduciary tax accounting field.
