Betty DeKovner is a licensed, bondable professional fiduciary with Professional Fiduciary Services (PFS) in Laguna Hills, California.  PFS is a group of independent fiduciaries who work together providing services such as Trustee or Successor Trustee in Living Trusts, Personal Representative in Wills, Agents for the Advanced Health Care Directive and Power of Attorney for Assets. 

Betty is an experienced fiduciary serving as successor trustee for young adults as well as elderly individuals who have no children.  She has experience with Lifetime Income Beneficiary Trusts, Special Needs Trusts and Conservatorships.  She also serves as an independent fiduciary to help families that are involved with disputes and litigation. 

Prior to being a professional fiduciary, as the Marketing Research Manager for Meguiar’s Inc., she was responsible for $100 million in new business development, new product planning, and sales/inventory forecasting.  She managed quantitative and qualitative research studies for Gallup Organization and Pioneer Electronics.  Betty also worked at Wells Fargo Bank helping seniors with mortgage services.   

Her educational background includes a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from California State University, Fullerton.  She is currently enrolled in the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program at the University of California, Irvine.

Her charitable work includes projects at the Florence Sylvester Senior Center, Age Well Senior Services, Lakeview Senior Center of Irvine, Women Helping Women, and Toastmasters International.  She has also moderated Peter Kote’s “It’s Your Money” and “It’s Your Estate” workshops throughout Orange County.

Betty is married to Michael DeKovner, a fee-only Registered Investment Advisor, and lives in Ladera Ranch with Macy, their tri-colored beagle.  Her hobbies include reading, travel, yoga, spirituality and film.
