Betty DeKovner is a licensed, bondable professional fiduciary with Professional Fiduciary Services (PFS) in Laguna Hills, California.   PFS is not a Trust Company but a group of independent fiduciaries who work together providing services such as Trustee or Successor Trustee in Living Trusts, Personal Representative in Wills, Agents for the Advanced Health Care Directive and Power of Attorney for Assets. 

Betty is an experienced fiduciary serving as successor trustee for young adults to elderly individuals who have no children.  She has experience with Lifetime Income Beneficiary Trusts, Special Needs Trusts and Conservatorships.  She also serves an independent fiduciary to help families that are involved with disputes/litigation. 

Her educational background includes an Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics from California State University – Fullerton (CSUF).  She is currently enrolled in the Certified Financial Planner program (CFP) at the University of California at Irvine.

Her charitable work includes projects at the Florence Sylvester Senior Center, Age Well Senior Services, Westminster Senior Center Foundation, Lakeview Senior Center of Irvine, Peter Kote’s “It’s Your Money and Your Estate” workshops, Women Helping Women, and Toastmasters International.  

Prior to being a professional fiduciary, she was in marketing management for Meguiar’s Inc.; Wells Fargo Bank; Gallup Organization; and Pioneer Electronics.

Betty is married to Michael DeKovner, a fee-only Registered Investment Advisor, and lives in Ladera Ranch with Macy, their tri-colored beagle.  Her hobbies include reading, travel, yoga, resistance training, spirituality and films.
