Our newest and youngest member at the Professional Fiduciary Services
at 39 is Richard Huntington. He is a graduate from California State
University Fullerton (CSUF) having earned a BA in Business Administration
with a concentration in Finance. This education included the required
courses for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program and successful
passing of the exam. He also recently passed Level I of the Chartered
Financial Analyst (CFA) program.
While at CSUF, Richard earned the Edward D Cunha Scholarship, CSU Real
Estate Scholarship and Orange County Chapter of RIMS Scholarship. He
was part of a three student team that qualified as finalist for the
American Express Planning Invitational.
Richard has lived in Mission Viejo, California since 1972, while attending
grade school in Laguna Beach at St. Catherine/St. Nicholas and then
high school at Mater Dei in Santa Ana. He attended San Diego State University
for three years prior to transferring to CSUF.
His knowledge of managing people and budgets comes from working 11
years at Costco. His charitable involvement includes: AYSO Soccer Coach,
computer lab assistant and reading program tutor at the elementary school
level.
Richard is licensed by California Statewide Registry of Private Conservators,
Guardians and Trustees SR# 07-1521. Richard is currently an associate
member with Professional Fiduciary Association of California (PFAC)
and a Financial Planning Association (FPA) member and a participant
in their Residency Program. Richard has earned his Fiduciary Management
Certificate from CSUF and serving as trustee in multiple trusts at present.
Richard is married and has a twelve year old daughter.
